Photo Library Access

ReelMap Studio cannot see, browse, or scan your personal photos. Here is exactly how the app interacts with your photo library:

• Saving videos (add-only): The only photo-library permission the app requests is iOS's "Add Photos Only" permission, used solely to save the finished videos you create into your camera roll. This permission does not allow the app to view, read, or access anything already in your library.
• Choosing listing photos: When you pick photos for a Photos→Tour, the app uses Apple's system photo picker, which runs outside the app. The app only ever receives the specific photos you tap to select — it has no visibility into the rest of your library.
• Nothing leaves your device without your action: selected listing photos are processed as described in the sections below, and only when you build or render a tour.

1. Information We Collect

We keep what leaves your device to a minimum. ReelMap Studio is designed with privacy in mind:

• Videos: Your recordings are stored locally on your device. A video is only uploaded when you choose to render or export it in the cloud, and only to produce your finished video.
• Listing Photos: Photos you select for Photos→Tour stay on your device, except that small copies are sent to OpenAI to detect each room and arrange the tour, and the photos are uploaded when you render the video in the cloud.
• Settings: Most preferences are saved locally on your device. If you sign in, we store your primary operating city and state and the most recent date you used the app with that market so we can provide market-relevant features and calculate aggregate active-agent counts by city.
• Calculator Tools: Numbers you enter in the Mortgage Calculator, Net Sheet, Payment Comparison, and Insurance Estimator stay on your device. Share cards are generated locally as images; nothing you type is sent to our servers.
• Limited Operational Analytics: We collect limited feature-usage and market-activity information needed to operate and improve the app. Signed-in primary-market activity is used only in aggregate city counts and is not shared with sponsors.
• Account Information: If you sign in, we maintain the account information needed for authentication, profile synchronization, and account-linked features.

2. Third-Party Services

ReelMap Studio uses the following third-party services to provide functionality:

• OpenAI: When you generate AI-powered scripts, your prompts are sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. When you build a Photos→Tour, small copies of the listing photos you select are sent to OpenAI so it can identify each room and arrange them into a logical tour order. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this data, and per OpenAI's API data usage policy these inputs are not used to train their models. We do not store or have access to these communications.
• Google Places: When using the Lifestyle Videos feature, location searches are processed through Google's Places API. Google's privacy policy applies.
• RevenueCat: The app uses RevenueCat to maintain an anonymous app identifier. ReelMap Studio is free — there are no purchases or subscriptions, and no payment information is collected.

Sponsored Content

ReelMap Studio is free and supported by sponsored placements from businesses (such as mortgage lenders, title companies, home warranty providers, and insurance providers) that pay us for advertising visibility in the app. Here is how that works with your data:

• Sponsors never receive your personal data. We do not share your name, contact information, videos, photos, or any other personal information with sponsors.
• Market-based display only: the city and state you set in the app are sent anonymously with the request that loads the sponsor card, solely so we can show a placement relevant to your market. That sponsor-card request is not tied to your identity. Separately, if you sign in, your primary market and latest market-activity date are stored with your account for app features and aggregate internal counts; sponsors never receive that account record.
• Anonymous tap counts: when a sponsored card is tapped, we record an anonymous, aggregate tap count so we can report overall placement performance to sponsors. No personal or device-identifying information is included.

3. Data Storage

By default your data stays on your device:

• Video recordings and most app settings remain in your device's local storage
• If you sign in, we store the account, profile, primary operating market, and latest market-activity date needed for account-linked features and aggregate city reporting
• Content is sent off your device only to fulfill a request you make — AI features send the needed text or photos to OpenAI, and cloud rendering uploads your video or photos to our cloud storage, where they are processed solely to create and deliver your finished video

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data for advertising or marketing. Data leaves your device only for the app operations described in this policy — for example, synchronizing signed-in account and primary-market information, sending photos to OpenAI to detect rooms, or uploading a video for cloud rendering (see Third-Party Services above). We never share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Children's Privacy

ReelMap Studio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your Rights

You can control locally stored content and request help with account-linked information:

• Delete any video by removing it from your device
• Reset app settings at any time through the Settings screen
• Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data
• Contact us using the address below with questions or requests concerning account-linked data

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
